How does the TravelGo Chair fold up?

Easily!

Both models have a latch at the back of the seat, when pulled this releases the chair for folding. It naturally compresses to a folded position. The last step is to fold the footrest in and it is ready to be moved. Should take less than 3 seconds.

Do the TravelGoChair models require assembly?

Both models come fully assembled. All you need to do is decide if you want to connect the joystick controller to the right or left armrest. The process to install it takes around 3 minutes. Then you just unfold the unit, place the seat covers in position, and you’re ready to go.

Do the TravelGo Chair have a FREE-Wheel function?

Yes. Both come with FREE-wheel and can be pushed when needed.

Can I use the TravelGo Chair indoors as well as outdoors?

Yes. TravelGoChair can be used as both indoor/outdoor personal mobility devices.

How much weight will the TravelGo Chair models support?

The TravelGoChairwill support up to 350 lbs

How fast can the TravelGo Chair go?

The TravelGO chair can travel up to a maximum speed of 6.5 kms/h

Can the TravelGo Chair be pushed ?

Yes, the TravelGo Chair have the ability to freewheel or go into neutral so that it could be used to manually push a individual from the back if desired.

How far can it travel on a single charge?

The TravelGo  models on a full charge can travel up to 22 kms

What kind of batteries are they?

The TravelGo S and HD models are both powered by a Lithium-ion 2.2kg

How much do the batteries weigh?

The batteries on the TravelGo powerchair weigh 2.2kg

What type of motor does the TravelGoChair use?

The TravelGo S and HD models are both powered by two 150 Watt Brushless HUB

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment.

  1. All major credit cards
  2. Debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard symbol
  3. Money orders or cashiers cheque
  4. Wire Transfers and E-Transfers
  5. Personal cheques(The product will ship after the chequeclears)
Will my private insurance pay for the TravelGoChair?

You will have to contact your insurance carrier to find out if they will reimburse you for the purchase of a mobility transportation aid. We have been told that some people have been fully or partially reimbursed for their purchase.

Will the provincial government funding cover the cost of the TravelGoChair?

No. Currently there is not any provincial or federal government funding for the TravelGo powerchairs

How long does shipping take?

We ship it by courier. Once shipped from our London Ontario location it can take up to 5 business days depending on the destination province.

Do you ship outside of Canada?

Yes. We ship internationally using Federal Express Economy Air Service. We have special rates. An example would be shipping to certain parts of Europe for as little as $400.00.

How will I know when the product will arrive?

When we ship, we provide a tracking number via email. If you do not have an email address, we will call you to provide the tracker number by phone.

Can the TravelGoChair be taken on a commercial airplane?

The TravelGoChair meet FAA and DOT regulations for safe air travel.

We strongly recommend that you contact the airline before traveling to check for any changes in their travel policy, and to provide documentation prior to air travel. This will make for a smooth flight.

Do I have to remove the batteries from the device prior to boarding?

This is at the discretion of the airlines. Most customers report that they did not have to remove the batteries.
